Shijingshan (Part 1)

Today we went to a theme park that was so much of a ridiculous knock-off of Disney that Disney actually sued them. As we walked to the entrance, we were greeted by some gleeful foxes and strange looking dwarves, who every few minutes would pop off their head to wipe their face. Upon entering the park, we realized it was every bit as crappy and more than we expected. And that is why it was AWESOME. The park featured a variety of lands, and had a bunch of original ideas, such as a large fairy tale castle in the center of the park, a flying elephant ride, a large Epcot-esque spherical building… the list goes on. I especially enjoyed the Haunted House ride when they started playing the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack. Of all the rides though, I think my favorite was America Adventure. You sat in cars facing sideways and each person had an old western style gun. Then you shot your laser gun as you rode through the old West, shooting at cowboys, Indians, horses, deer, zebra, ostriches, elephants… Wait, what?
